NUTELLA RECIPE: The obsession with banana ( don't laugh like a 7 year old )... bread... and Nutella continues!
( see... you have to let me finish my sentence... i wasn't talking only about Bananas! )
For those of you who love Nutella cakes, you’re in luck! I have another great recipe for you to put it to good use.
I’ve spread nutella on just about everything, but one of my favorites is freshly baked banana bread. In an “aha! moment” I decided to swirl the nutella right into the batter and bake them together. I’m not claiming to have discovered this combo, but I believe this may be the tastiest pairing ever there was. I now always make two loaves, otherwise it disappears too quickly.
It’s not even worth trying out new recipes; there is no banana bread I’ve ever had that comes close to this one. It’s soft, velvety, and light. It’s so flavorful and can be eaten at any time of day. It’s sliceable so you can have a sliver or a huge piece. Or five slivers.
This banana bread requires a few ingredients but little work.
You can make it both vegan and gluten free... whatever your problem of belief is... you won't have problems making it! Although i guess Gluten might be present into Nutella. DOUBLE CHECK!!! In that case, there is Gluten Free Chocolate. I know it because i've seen it! ;)
After some quality time in the oven it comes out looking like heaven in a loaf pan. But resist the temptation to dig in right away!
This bread makes the perfect take-along breakfast, snack, or even a dessert. I absolutely adore the way the Nutella bakes into the top layer and creates a chocolate-hazelnut crust. I found myself grabbing for the top of the slice and really savoring it.
This bread is: Moist, Tender, Hearty, Perfectly sweet, Banana-infused, Nutella-swirled, Wholesome, Easy and Quick.
Try to twist it using Greek Yogurt. The reason to put Greek Yogurt into this recipe, is because of its acidity. The yogurt acids react strongly with baking soda to create carbon dioxide, allowing the bread to rise more fully and giving it that characteristic fluffiness.
Just a spoon or two is enough.
