    400gr Macaroni

    300gr Grated Cheddar

    80gr Grated Parmesan
    ( or a similar vegetarian alternative )

    40gr Butter

    40gr Plain Flour

    0.8lb Macaroni

    10.5oz Grated Cheddar

    2.8oz Grated Parmesan
    ( or a similar vegetarian alternative )

    1.4oz Butter

    1.4oz Plain Flour

    2 cups Milk

    5 handfuls Macaroni

    1 cup Grated Cheddar

    0.5 cup Grated Parmesan
    ( or a similar vegetarian alternative )

    1 tablespoon Butter

    0.4 cup Plain Flour








Directions:



01 - Start boiling the water, add some salt and put the Macaroni in.

 

02 - In the meanwhile, melt the Butter over a medium heat in a saucepan slightly larger than that used for the Macaroni. Add the flour and stir for a few minutes, till everything is well smooth.

03 - Gradually whisk in the Milk, a little at a time, and cook for few minutes to a thickened and smooth sauce.

04 - Meanwhile, preheat the grill to hot.

 

05 - Add half of the Cheese and stir until well combined and melted.

 

06 - Add the Macaroni to the sauce and mix well. Transfer to a deep suitably-sized ovenproof dish.

07 - Sprinkle over the remaining Cheddar and the Parmesan and place the dish under the hot grill. Cook until the Cheese is browned and bubbling. Serve straightaway.
