TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: Tonkatsu is almost always accompanied by thinly shredded cabbage. I don’t know exactly why, but probably it cuts grease of Tonkatsu or something…. Anyways! You’ll definitely see how Tonkatsu and cabbage complement each other if you eat them together!

4 Pork Loin Chops
( not too thick - no bones )
0.5 cups Panko
( or simple bread crumbs )
2 Eggs
1 cups All Purpose Flour
Oil
( for deep frying )
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
01 - Make small cuts all over the Pork Chops with the tip of the knife.
02 - Sprinkle some Salt and Black Pepper on both sides of the meat.
03 - Coat the meat with Flour.
04 - Dip in Eggs and cover with Bread Crumbs.
05 - Heat deep frying Oil to 180C / 350F, and deep fry the Crumb-Covered Meat.
06 - Fry until the Tonkatsu turns gold-brown and the Meat floats in the Oil. About 5-8 minutes, turning once or twice.
07 - Set the Meat on a cooling rack for a minute.
08 - Cut into 5-6 pieces. Serve.
Notes:
- Serve with Cabbage Salad or Rice.
