TRADITIONAL ITALIAN RECIPE: There aren’t many recipes that I would say are worth endlessly repeating, but bruschetta is definitely one of them.
Bruschetta is toasted Italian bread slices which are ( sometimes ) rubbed with garlic after toasting and drizzled or brushed with extra virgin olive oil. You can cook bruschetta on a grill, in a toaster or also under an oven broiler.
This is also a very cheap antipasto. It costs about 3 dollars to make 8 slices... and I've seen it sold for 10 dollars 2 slices in New York. I stood up and left.
I understand good food is expensive, but there is nothing special about a bloody Bruschetta with 2 chopped Cherry Tomatoes and a tablespoon of Tuna.
F**k these pretentious overprices!
Make it at home!
