TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: Sweet Potato Balls are a treat, not really a side dish. I eat them for snack or starter.

 

The recipe is incredibly easy. 4 ingredients.

Sometimes I add cinnamon, or nutmeg. You might wanna try and see what you prefer the most.

    2 Sweet Potatoes

     

    60g Cornstarch

     

    60g Sugar

     

    Grapeseed Oil
    ( to fry )

    2 Sweet Potatoes

     

    2.1oz Cornstarch

     

    2.1oz Sugar

     

    Grapeseed Oil
    ( to fry )




  • Cups:

     

     

     

    2 Sweet Potatoes

     

    0.5 cup Cornstarch

     

    0.25 cup Sugar

     

    Grapeseed Oil
    ( to fry )




 

 

 

Directions:


 

01 - Peel, cut and boil the Sweet Potatoes.

02 - Mash the Potatoes and combine with Cornstarch and Sugar. Mix to combine.

03 - Mold the Dough formed into small balls and fry them for 3 minutes or until golden. Serve hot or cold.
