TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: Imagine having your afternoon tea with these amazing Matcha Cookies. A delicious treat that will tantalize your taste buds and energize your body!

If you're looking for a sweet yet traditional japanese treat, look no further than these Matcha Cookies with White Chocolate Chips!
These cookies are not only absolutely delicious, but they are also loaded with health benefits thanks to the amazing ingredient that gives them their vibrant green color: Matcha!

Matcha is a type of green tea that originates from Japan and has been used in traditional Japanese tea ceremonies for centuries. It is made by grinding high-quality green tea leaves into a fine powder, which is then whisked into hot water to create a rich, frothy tea.

What makes matcha so healthy? For starters, it's packed with antioxidants, which can help protect your body against harmful free radicals and reduce your risk of chronic diseases. It's also a great source of catechins, which have been shown to help promote weight loss, reduce inflammation, and improve heart health. And because matcha is made from whole tea leaves that are consumed in their entirety, it's an even richer source of these beneficial compounds than traditional green tea.

- STEP 03: remember to scrape the bowl when mixing. Don't let the mixture dry or sit too long on the side of the bowl.

- You can store the cookies in an airtight container or wrapped in cling film, in the fridge, for a couple of days.

I must admit that when I tried to substitute margarine for the butter one time, they didn't turn out quite as delicious. However, I learned from that experience and now make sure to always use the recommended ingredients for optimal results.
