TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: Edamame is green ( young ) soy beans in pods. It is usually served as an appetizer with your favorite drinks. You can also make the Edamame recipe using frozen Edamame, that you can buy all year round.
Eating Edamame as an appetizer, drinking while watching an evening baseball game on TV is the absolute right way to eat it in Japan.
