TRADITIONAL ITALIAN RECIPE: this will probably be the fastest and easiest recipe you have ever found.

 

Normally, pasta is boiled in salted water, drained and mixed with the sauce. BUT, by doing so you lose the starch of the pasta. By cooking everything together, we are able to mantain the starch, which eventually binds with the sauce, creating a very thick and rich tomato sauce.

    400gr Pasta

     

    500gr Tomatoes

     

    50gr Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    ( plus extra )

     

    50gr Parmigiano Cheese

    ( grated )

     

    3 Garlic Clove

    ( finely chopped )

     

    Sweet Italian Basil




  • Imperial:

     

     

     

    400gr Pasta

     

    1.1lb Tomatoes

     

    1.7 Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    ( plus extra )

     

    1.7oz Parmigiano Cheese

    ( grated )

     

    3 Garlic Clove

    ( finely chopped )

     

    Sweet Italian Basil




  • Cups:

     

     

     

    Pasta for 4 people

     

    8-10 large Tomatoes

     

    4 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

    ( plus extra )

     

    0.5 cup Parmigiano Cheese

    ( grated )

     

    3 Garlic Clove

    ( finely chopped )

     

    Sweet Italian Basil




 

 

 

Directions:


 

01 - Chop Garlic and Tomatoes.

 

02 - Place in a pot, together with Pasta.

 

03 - Pour enough water to boil, adding from time to time if needed.

 

04 - Add some salt and cook for about 10-15 minutes.

 

05 - One minute before the end, add Basil. Mix well.

 

06 - Top each portion with Parmesan Cheese. Serve.

Notes:


 

- You won't need to sautee garlic. Boil everything into one pot.

 

- Garlic can be chopped or cut in halves.
