Wanted to shake things up a little, so I used maple syrup instead of regular sugar. The cookies had a slight chewy texture and it was a delicious change.

I didn't deviate an inch from the recipe. Used metric and weighed everything with a scale. Guess what? They looked picture-perfect, just like the photos online! Big thanks for this recipe.

Had a bit of a scare with the dough; it was kinda dry and crumbly. Poured in some milk and it worked like magic. Even though my oven runs a bit hot and I forgot to pull them out early, they didn't dry out. It all turned out good in the end.

First try was with regular flour and they were pretty good. Got me thinking, next time I'm definitely swapping out for almond flour. Can't wait to taste that version.
