TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: The usual Japanese way of preparing okra is to cut it into rounds. But when my Japanese wife makes it she slices the okra into wispy strips. The supercrunchy result was a hit and she became a family legend.

01 - Boil some water in a pot and cook the Okras for about 2 minutes.
02 - Drain and let them cool slightly.
03 - Cut the Okras thinly and diagonally and mix them with the Soy Sauce.
04 - Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
05 - Sprinkle with Bonito Flakes. Serve.
