    TRADITIONAL JAPANESE RECIPE: This Homemade Yakisoba Sauce Recipe ( 焼きそばソース ) is a quick and easy home version of a popular Japanese sauce everyone loves. Yakisoba Sauce is mainly used for Yakisoba, a japanese fried noodle dish known all over the world, but it can really be used for so many other things.

      Conversions


    • Metric:

       

       

       

      64gr Worcestershire Sauce
      ( Usutah So-su )

      24gr Ketchup

      24gr Oyster Sauce

      12gr Soy Sauce

      8gr Sugar
      (add more sugar if you don't use Japanese Bulldog Worcestershire sauce)




    • Imperial:

       

       

       

      2.25oz Worcestershire Sauce
      ( Usutah So-su )

      0.84oz Ketchup

      0.84oz Oyster Sauce

      0.42oz Soy Sauce

      0.28oz Sugar
      (add more sugar if you don't use Japanese Bulldog Worcestershire sauce)




    • Cups:

       

       

       

      4 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
      ( Usutah So-su )

      4 teaspoons Ketchup

      4 teaspoons Oyster Sauce

      2 teaspoons Soy Sauce

      2 teaspoons Sugar
      (add more sugar if you don't use Japanese Bulldog Worcestershire sauce)




     

     

     

    Directions:


     

    01 - Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together.

    02 - Adjust the sauce according to your liking.





    Notes:


    - You can use Tomato Sauce instead of Ketchup but you'll have to add extra Sugar.

    - Keep it in a airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
